I like to eat.  A lot.  People are generally shocked to see how much food I can shove down my throat given my pint size.

When arriving to work this morning, co-workers were asking what I did this weekend.  My response: I ate.  And ate. and ate and ate.

Friday night bbq with steaks, wings, pork skewers and salad followed up by the most delicious cake ever.

Please ignore the very mature use of my friend’s middle finger.  He was trying to illustrate his dislike for my very fast metabolism.

Saturday we went to an authentic bbq joint called memphis.  Why?  Because:

hehehe.  The signage in this place is wicked.

The amount of food 5 of us consumed was not healthy.  Here is the before:

and the after:

After this meal, to illustrate what kind of food coma it put all of us in, we then went back to our house and watched…SEX AND THE CITY MOVIE!  Let me be clear, it was me and 4 dudes.  All 4 dudes watched, AND ENJOYED, SATC.  I’m seriously thinking there must have been something in the food becasue in what world do 4 guys watch SATC on a Saturday night?  I know.  mind boggling.

Sunday morning we decided to head over to Liberty Village (which is an area in Toronto) and have brunch at a place called School.  The food at school is unbeatable….especially the brunch/lunch menu.

I had the chocolate pancakes with bananas and macadamia nuts.  Seven pancakes piled high dripping in chocolate sauce…heaven!

and after:

I tried so hard to finish it.  But ended up stopping short.  I just couldn’t do it.  Regardless, the chefs were all applauding the effort I made as they had all exclaimed that the stack of pancakes were bigger than my head.

Sunday night we had dinner at my parents house.  Baked Zitti from the Soprano’s cookbook.  To. Die. For.  I will be eating the leftovers for dinner tonight.

and THAT was my weekend in food (minus a few items, which I will be discussing later).
