On Sunday, I didn’t leave the house once.  It was one of those wet and dreary days where all you wanted to do was light a fire and max out on the couch.  And that is exactly what we did.

But on Saturday, I was rearing to get the house decorated for halloween/the fall season but was wanting to do something different- a little more unexpected.  Seeing the pumpkin vases over on pinkseersucker’s blog, i knew instantly that THAT was what I wanted to do.

I made one for my desk:

And I made three for my dining room table centerpiece:

Final thoughts: I love this idea and know that it will be doing every fall from here on out!!
